This Frail But Agile Little “v-Strutter” Gained Some Well-Deserved Fame As the Aeroplane Flown by American Volunteers of the Celebrated Lafayette Escadrille Prior To America’s Entry Into Wwi. the New “nieuport 17? Located in “lafayette Plaza” At Newport Avenue and Irvine Boulevard Is the Realization of Former Naval Aviator Bill Bettis’ Lifelong Dream. Bill Designed and Built His New Restaurant To Exacting Standards and Latest State-Of-The-Art Equipment Couched in the Warm Atmosphere of A Tirolean Hunting Lodge. It All Started After His College Days At Usc and His Flying Career. Bill Became Vice President of Cellar Door Restaurants in Houston, Texas, Ten Years Later he Opened the First Nieuport 17 Where Naturally the Theme Was Aviation. the Collection of Authentic Artifacts, Photos and Paintings Displayed May Be One of the Finest Anywhere.
